Creating a Kids' Bathroom
Kids' Bathroom Rugs have grown in popularity. More parents are decorating their little ones' bath rooms. These bath rugs are perfect because not only do they look great, but they're also relatively inexpensive. We're going to take a look at a few of the reasons why bathroom rugs are so popular:
They make it easier to keep your little one warm and dry. Children hate taking showers and having dirty clothes lying around in the water. If you have a 'bathtub' in your bathroom, then chances are your child will be miserable. Bathroom bath rugs will prevent them from wetting their beds or floor, which is perfect if you have a 'bathtub' and don't have any place to put the clothes that you want to dry off.
Bathrooms can get very stuffy. Kids often don't like to share the bathroom with anyone, so they feel as though it is their special place. They want to be the only person in the room. Unfortunately, this often means that other members of the family are stuck in the bath with them. Your child's bath is going to make them feel like they are royalty for a minute. Bathroom rugs will alleviate that feeling of exclusivity.
You don't have to go crazy finding towels and washcloths for each member of the family. Kids' towels are usually covered in cartoon characters, so they won't have to find their own towels to wash. You will also find that they come in all kinds of shapes and colors. While you might not choose the most beautiful or unique design, you can be assured that there is one out there for your little one. They're not going to be able to tell you what color they're happy with.
It makes your house less cluttered. A lot of houses have cluttered basins and counters. Your kids will be surrounded by clean tile and counter tops. It also allows them to get into the tub without having to shout at them because they're not able to get in.
It makes hygiene easier. Kids love soaking in tubs, but they hate to get wet. With a bathtub, they can lie down, lay back, and soak for as long as they want. This means they can brush their teeth without having to worry about getting wet. The bathroom is much cleaner.
It gives them a chance to bond with each other. Kids will often play in their rooms, but you never really see them. This will be a chance to get them out and about. They will be able to touch, hug, and talk to each other in a quiet moment. You could even join them, if you'd prefer.
A bathroom can be a dark, wet room that can be uncomfortable for kids. You don't need to replace all of the linens in the room, but you also don't want to put your children in an uncomfortable bathing suit all day. Having a bath for them once or twice a month will go a long way toward solving that problem. Instead of running to the dresser for a few pairs of jeans, they can do it right there under the faucet. They'll be much more likely to want to get into it.
It's a time where they can feel special. Children look forward to going to the bathroom with mommy or daddy. When they get to the room, they're treated to a special treat - like a nice warm bath. They feel important and safe when they're in one. When you have a bathtub in the room, this occurs less frequently.
Some things you can do to make a kids' bath more enjoyable is using rugs on the floor. It makes a huge difference for a small child to be able to climb on a towel and onto the tub. Make sure there's enough room for them to climb up and down, too. If they have to stand there, they may develop anxiety about being alone in a strange place.
Kids are growing faster and having bigger rooms. The last thing you want is for them to be uncomfortable. If you have the luxury of time, a 'bathtub and shower' might not be the best option for your kids, but there are plenty of choices out there. If your kids are old enough, maybe consider a 'bathtub and toilet' for the big boys.
